Application Fee
|
- For General Category and Unreserved Category Candidates: Rs 600
- For candidates belonging to Other Backward Class, Most Backward Class, Economically Weaker Section, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe category of Rajasthan: Rs 400
- For all disabled candidates: Rs 400
- For all categories of candidates whose annual family income is less than Rs 2.50 lakh, the application fee has been kept at Rs 400, the same as for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

Age Limit
|
- The age limit for male candidates of general category and unreserved category has been kept from 18 years to 40 years.
- Age in this recruitment will be calculated considering January 1, 2025 as the basis.
- For female candidates of general category, relaxation of 5 years has been given in the maximum age limit.
- The maximum age limit of 5 years is relaxed for male candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Section, Other Backward Class, Extremely Backward Class, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Sahariya category, native of Rajasthan state.
- Women candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Section, Other Backward Class, Extremely Backward Class, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Sahariya category, native of Rajasthan state, have been given relaxation of 10 years in the maximum age limit.
- There is no age limit in case of widows and divorced women.
- Other reserved categories of Rajasthan are also given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of Rajasthan Government.

Educational Qualification
|
|
Archivist:
- Essential: M.A. 2nd Class in Medieval History and/or Modern History or Political Science, Knowledge of Persian, and/or Rajasthani.
- Preferential: Diploma in Archival Science, or 2 years experience of Teaching history or 2 years Archives experience or teaching experience in political Science,
- Alternate: M.A. (History) with Diploma in Archival Science.
Research Officer:
- M.A. in History with Diploma in Archival Science or M.A. 2nd Class in History with 2 years Archival experience or 2 years teaching experience in History.
Assistant Archivist:
- M.A. in History or Degree of Bachelor of Arts together with 5 years experience of having worked in Archives Department or Diploma in Archival Science. Must possess a Sound Knowledge either of Persian or Rajasthani.
Research Scholar:
- (M.A. in History or Degree of Bachelor of Arts with 3 years experience of having worked in Archives Department or possess a Diploma in Archival Science from the National Archives of India.
- Must possess sound working Knowledge either or Rajasthani or of Persian.
Chemist:
- Essential: M.Sc. II Class in Chemistry.
- Preferential : 2 Years experience having worked either in Archives Department or in Research Laboratory.
For all posts: Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.

- Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, document verification and medical.
