Eligibility and Fees
Age on 3 November 2026 Clause 8.1 specifies at least 15 years and below 24 years. Consult the category-specific date-of-birth table and relaxation rules in the notice.
Education Class 10 or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks, plus the prescribed trade certificate in the notified trade.
Training Restrictions The notice excludes engineering graduates, diploma holders and candidates who have already undertaken or are undergoing apprenticeship training.
Application Fee ₹100. SC, ST, PwBD and women applicants are exempt.

Selection and Application
Merit Calculation Central Railway takes the simple average of the Class 10 aggregate percentage and the relevant ITI percentage. For example, 70% in Class 10 and 80% in ITI give a merit percentage of 75%.
Cluster and Unit Choose one cluster and indicate eligible units within that cluster. Document verification takes place at the opted division or unit.
