What the category clarification means

The clarification concerns how the categories are displayed in the shortlist after the GD Computer Based Examination. The category under which a person applied and the category against which that person was considered are different fields. Read both columns before concluding that a category entry is wrong. This notice should not be treated as a new application, final appointment list or a new cutoff announcement.

Step-by-step candidate guide

  1. Download the SSC clarification and the updated list relevant to your candidate group.
  2. Use the female PET/PST list or the applicable male list excluding SSF, as appropriate.
  3. Search by roll number rather than name alone and read the category columns together.
  4. Save the relevant page and follow subsequent official PET/PST instructions. Other conditions of the previously published CBE result remain applicable.
