Scorecard and result status are different

This is the Preliminary examination score release dated 22 October. It is distinct from the 15 October result-status announcement and does not by itself announce final appointment. Candidates moving to Main should separately obtain the Main call letter; saving a scorecard is not a substitute for that call letter.

Step-by-step candidate guide

  1. Open the official Specialist Officers XVI page.
  2. Select the Preliminary scores link for this cycle, not an older SO recruitment.
  3. Log in using the identifiers requested on the official page and save your scorecard.
  4. Check your name, registration number, post, category and displayed scores/cutoffs.
  5. If shortlisted for Main, read the separate call-letter and information-handout instructions.
