Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications as specified in the notification:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA); or
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA); or
  • MBA / PGDM or an equivalent degree in Finance, Data Analytics or Business Analytics from a recognized institute.

Preferred Certification: Financial Risk Manager (FRM) by GARP or Professional Risk Managers certification by PRMIA, valid as on 31 October 2026.

Required Work Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience as on 31 October 2026.
  • The experience must involve Expected Credit Loss (ECL) related modelling.
  • Eligible experience includes work in the Risk Management Department of a bank, financial institution, rating agency or brokerage firm, or in Risk Advisory at a consulting firm, as specified in the notification.
  • Training and teaching experience will not count towards eligibility.

Grade MMGS-II
Basic Pay Scale ₹64,820 to ₹93,960

The stated amount is the basic pay scale. Actual monthly earnings and take-home pay depend on applicable allowances and deductions.

Selection Process
  1. Shortlisting of applications according to criteria decided by SBI.
  2. Interview carrying 100 marks.
  3. Preparation of the merit list based on interview scores, subject to the notification conditions.
  4. Verification of eligibility and original documents.

Minimum eligibility does not guarantee shortlisting. SBI will determine the qualifying marks for the interview.
